這次拍攝有四個不同主題，我們到了草綠的大自然和海灘，也選了中式庭園和懷舊酒吧。我們一起討論拍攝的地點、每套配襯的衣著，讓Cindy和Ryan更自在投入地享受拍攝。
我嘗試以自身對光影和繪畫的理解，描繪二人的情感，同時避免過於直接的畫面，也為照片及情節留白，這樣的照片才經得起時間洗禮。

This photo shoot had four themes: grassland and beach, a Chinese courtyard and a bar. We spent time to brainstorm and pick the shooting locations and outfit together, allowing Cindy and Ryan to fully enjoy themselves during the shoot.
I attempted to use my own understanding of light and shadow as well as paintings to illustrate their relationship. I avoided shots that are too direct, deliberately leaving blanks in the photos, and in their stories. Only then do the photos stand the test of time.
I am very grateful to Cindy and Ryan for their trust and support. Each time I am asked to take photos by new friends, I hope I can share my own views and aspirations about photography with them. You say you’re lawyers and don’t know too much about art, yet each time you are patient and encouraging with me. Thank you! I am greatly looking forward to your big day. – Martin
